This table shows scores for each key level at percentages of par time, based on The War Within Season 1 base score rules.

This shows only up to +20 keys at 1.5-point (4%) increments to keep the size under control. The calculator supports higher keys, and all values in between. 😀

Note: in The War Within Season 1, the par time for +7 and higher keys is extended by 90 seconds (ie: the 60% and 140% target are 54 and 126 seconds longer respectively). Because dungeons have different par times, this table is based on the percentage of the effective par time (after those 90 seconds added, if applicable).

Time scoring rules

These rules are for Dragonflight Season 2 - 4 and The War Within Season 1, are an extra bonus on top of the base score rules (which changed in DF Season 4 and again in TWW).

The first matching rule applies in this list applies:

  1. if the completion time is ≤ 60% of par time:
    • Dragonflight: add 5 timing bonus points
    • TWW Season 1: add 15 timing bonus points
  2. if the completion time is exactly par time (100%), or over time by less than 1 second, there are no timing bonus points or penalties
  3. if the completion time is > 140% of par time, the run is worth no points at all
  4. if the completion time is < 100% of par time:
    • Dragonflight: add (1 - fractional_time) × 12.5 timing bonus points (ie: 5 points for 60%, 0 points for 100%, on a linear scale)
    • TWW Season 1: add (1 - fractional_time) × 37.5 timing bonus points (ie: 15 points for 60%, 0 points for 100%, on a linear scale)
  5. otherwise (ie: > 100% and ≤ 140% of par time):
    • Dragonflight:
      • deduct 5 + ((fractional_time - 1) × 12.5) points (ie: 5 - 10 points on a linear scale)
      • Dragonflight Seasons 2 and 3: if it is higher than a +20 key, score it as a +20 key
      • Dragonflight Season 4: if it is higher than a +10 key, score it as a +10 key
    • TWW Season 1:
      • deduct 15 + ((fractional_time - 1) × 37.5) points (ie: 15 - 30 points on a linear scale)
      • if it is higher than a +10 key, deduct 15 points for each level above +10

When I originally started this (in Shadowlands), the timing bonus formula did not seem to be correctly documented anywhere. Since then, there have been several attempts at documenting this part of the M+ scoring formula, but even very popular fansites' featured guides contain errors.
